Questions about H&R 929 22lr
« on: January 13, 2007, 04:44:04 PM »
What's the story on this pistol?  Are they good pistols?  Can the barrel be switched out for a shorter barrel?  Thinkin' about pickin' one up.  I have heard good things about the 929.  Just thought I would check it out.

I owned a 929 for a while.  It was a good, basic pistol that did what you asked of it.  I traded it off and picked up an older H&R 999.  That one is sweet!  I don't believe I'd want to pay much over a $100 for one.  I've found a couple of Charter Pathfinders out there for $125/$150.  I'd go with one of those first.  44 Man.
