Very pretty rifle, and it seems to be solid as a bank vault.  I told them to call me when the synthetic stock shows up, I cry too much when I scratch good wood   :'(

I believe a feller ought to have one of these, and just to compliment it, one of the new Triumphs as well. And I've been a Handi fan for a long time now too. TC has my attention now though.  :o  Already been looking at the Pro Hunters before the Icon and Triumph were introduced.

Yep, TC did NOT do the "me too" thing with this bolt gun. I would love to have a 270 with the wood stock & a Tactical version in 308 & 300WM, hope my Wife does not see this.

The fact they they were innovators should not surprise me really. Look at how innovative the Contender was when it came out!

T/C definitely does its own thing, it's own way.  That's what I like about them.  The Triumph is a sharp looking rifle,  IMHO.  I'll probably have to get one to go along with the other 5 muzzleloaders I already have.   ;)  The Pro-Hunter is pretty cool too.  I almost bought one, but I've had 5 other Encores and wasn't that impressed with them, accuracy wise.  I think that they are the best feeling rifle out there, ergonomically.  Honestly, accuracy is the only issue I've had, and it wasn't that they didn't shoot well, I just felt that they didn't shoot well enough for a quality single shot rifle.  I guess I was spoiled by my Ruger 1A 7x57 that shot just about anything under an inch, and an H&R Ultra 25-06 did the same, both right out of the box.  I never got under 1.5" with any Encore, with any caliber, any barrel, with factory ammo.  I know that I should reload, but I feel that any rifle chambered for a factory round should shoot well with some brand of factory ammo for that round.

Definitely keep us updated on the rifle.  I'm really curious about the accuracy, finish,  oh heck, the total package.

I have always liked the T/C quality and now they're tempting me with their new line! Looks like it could be time to break open the ol' piggy bank. ::)
