RCE / Corbin adapter
« on: January 15, 2007, 10:02:04 AM »
Does Richard make an adapter for his Walnut Hill presses that allow them to use Corbin's swaging dies? I'd like to be able to use both makers dies in the same press frankly because it takes so long for RCE to get the dies out the door. Ive ordered another set of dies from him over a year ago and still nada. Perhaps Corbins is quicker ::)

Yes he does make the adapters but you might have a long wait getting them.
I have had dies on order for a long time and I called him 5-6 weeks ago wondering if they might have got lost in shipment and he told me there cut and going into heat treat.
Must be a new process.

Thanks for the reply Kurt. Thats kinda what I figured. I just sent Richard an e-mail to check on my order and add an adapter. I guess thats the one major drawback to getting into swaging besides cost, The wait!

If I had a way to cut a cherry so it would run straight I would make my own dies.
