Actually to update you guys, one can drive through Canada now with a hand gun regardless if he's been hunting with one in Alaska. You have to contact Canadian Customs prior to the trip and register the firearms for a price. Once the approval is given, drive to the Customs gate and present the firearm and paperwork.
