How many arrows
« on: January 20, 2007, 03:16:08 AM »
How many arrows do you guys and gals carry with you when you hunt?

How do you all carry them?

When I was hunting with my Compound bow I would have 7 arrows in my quiver 3 braudheads for deer 3 mechanical for targets of opportunity and a judo point for stump shooting.

The cross bow I will be getting will have only room for 4 arrows in it's quiver I am trying to figure out how to carry extra arrows

I carry 2 Slick Trick broadheaded bolts and one with a field point or judo head for unloading in a hip quiver.

I place a piece of foam in the top of the tube, that stops the bolts rattling and theirs an elastic strap azt the bottom of the quiver that straps to my leg  with velcro. Doesn't make a sound, then I hang it up when I'm in a stand or blind. The plastic tubes fit into elastic retainers inside the quiver as well.

I carry 4 with 100gr Muzzy's. In a top mount quiver, on my Exocet Made by Dan miller.  I love the top mount. You can sling your bow and never Have the quiver poke you in the back. Plus the Bolts are right there when you reload.  I always decock with the string cocker.
