It must be going around Hunter. I've had it for the past couple of weeks! It's the only thing on my mind.I even kiss it first when I get home at night,LOL

Take it from me, one of the worst afflicted, there is no cure, just treat the symptoms by adding more barrels or rifles, most of us evolve to prefer complete rifles!!  :D

The cure is a perscription that does not cost too much!  Consider the price of any RX that lasts about 1 month is a low of $10/week to some that are over $200/week.  Explain that your Dr has prescribed a coffee can where each week you deposit $14 (2 bucks a day) and every 3 months you purchase a new barrel from H&R follow me on this...... 120 days @ $2 / day = $240.  Half to the barrel and half as hush money for the wife..... you give her 1/2!!  Explain there are far worse addictions ...... even a cheap bottle of wine is about $6 (a glass of red wine every day is good for you so, a bottle a day should be better!).......   This does not even impact your medical insurance!  What would she rather have you collect??? Cars!!

Bob has a very good point, there are a heck of a lot of more expensive hobbies or vices, depending on how the wife looks at it, that we could be involved in, at least being a Handiholic isn't unhealthy, fattening, illegal or immoral!!! ;D

Don't know if there is a cure or not, but I can say that I thought all week about going out coyote hunting with my new 243 today- in a real cold spell too here.  Well, no coyotes seen but it was a great day out in the fields nevertheless. and I knew that if I saw one it would the Handi's first game harvested...maybe next time it will be.  I am already planning on another barrel, maybe barrels?

I don't think thee is a cure, however regular exposure to recoil and gun powder smoke have been known to keep the symptoms under control. At least until the next flareup.

My pesky .308 Ultra has nearly cured me of the disease which I initially contracted while practicing unprotected shooting with my H&R .17m. In fact I think I'd be completely cured if it weren't for all the enablers in the forum. one day at a time...

Not a 'cure' as such, (don't believe there is one) but maybe just a helpful treatment  ;)

It hasn't been true in my case, but as a philosophical exercise here's a question: can someone be happy with just one?
