Buffalo rifle, not buffalo classic

Hey guys I was at a gun show today and I saw a "buffalo" rifle and shotgun combo that looked like an NEF/H&R but it didn't say as much anywhere on it. all I saw some lettering stating that it was made in PA. thoughts? It was in a 30-30 and 20 guage.

Was it new?  If so, try to find out who made it?  It sounds like a Savage 24.

No, Swampman, it pretty old but not ancient. It has a hard case with it that both barrels & the receiver and fore-end fit into, all-in-all a very well taken of older take-down but I am still curious as to what it is? the owner didn't much more than it is a 30-30/20 combo. the show is still going today so I'm going to go have second look if he hasn't sold it.

went out to the show this morning and about 1/3 of the tables were empty, maybe the show charges by the day & some folks didn't want to pony up the dough for the second day. anyway, the fellow who had the combo in question was gone. looking at the show schedule, there's another show in two weeks, maybe he'll be there.
