DUHHHH !
to shoot down Global Positioning System Satellites and BLIND probably HALF of the United States heavy weapons systems maybe? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out !

You knew it was only a matter of time with China buying up all the metals and oil that they are pushing to be a world power.

When you figure out how much communication is handled thru the satellites, this country could end up in caous, with out a single shot being fired. Military communications, banking,police, local news. Scary thought. Remember the old saying, keep your powder dry.

   It isn't Gravel, It was Aluminium "Marbles"... At sufficient speed the effect was the same though.
Takes out the solar panels and the satellite simply dies of "starvation". That system has been around for a while, But I think the Chinese actually hit this one with a single projectile in a point on impact.
