Unless the dims do something major stupid in the next two years and I hope they do, we are in deep dodo as there will be a dim again in the WH. With so many ticked off at GW over the war unfortunately I think the dims will be able to win no matter what liberal moron they put in the race.  :(

I think Giuliani is the only hope for the Republicans...and his stance on gun control isn't much better than Hillary's.

Just so everybody knows, Obama is not a Muslim; he attends the Trinity United Church of Christ, on Chicago’s south side.

Okay now resume demonizing.

Obama attends a Christian church. I did not say that he is either Christian or Muslim.
I do know that he is a politician.

Hooo Boy - now that would be a ticket:  klinton is a communist and obama is what (?) just another dumbocrat.  He may attend a Christian church but so what - he is unproven at everything.  His only savings grace is that he is purported not 'to owe anybody anything'.

Guilliani - might run, might not.  Funny thing about NYC mayors - they have big mouths and talk a lot and bluster all over the place but none of them were ever leader enough to run this country.  Hell, they can't even run nyc but, he is a possibility.  Bloomberg - nope.

It looks like we have about 2 more years, a bit less actually, to find a decent Republican to carry on.  I just hope the dumbos collapse in on themselves, or shoot each other inna foot over the next buncha months.

Now, ya know hillary ain't about to take 2nd billing to a minority candidate, so this should be interesting to watch.  I'll just bet she steps on it a bunch of times in the coming months.  Mikey.

I fear that Hilary will get the nomination, with Obama as her running mate, unless some real dirt is found on him ( he may say/be a Christian, but he did attend a Muslem "Madrassa", something his handlers are downplaying big-time). The thing that frosts me is all the news going ape over Obama, without having any idea on where he stands on issues. With any luck he'll be shown to be extreme left, with his voting record at the state level, and that will turn off most Dems, and will encourage a record number of GOP's to donate $$ and turnout to vote. ANY Republican would be better then Clinton.

Did Obama not take his oath of office on the Quran (Koran)sp?
Instead of the Bible?
There was sure a lot of talk about it for some reason? can't see why he would do that if he were not Muslim. Part of the text in the Quran implies that it is allowable for Muslims to do whatever is necessary to spread their message across the world. Lie, Cheat, Steal, KILL ! it doesn't matter.
I trust none of them. I see him as a one man "Sleeper Cell", and the American public better surely
do their homework on him ! Especially Christians. When did he start going to "Trinity United Church of Christ, on Chicago’s south side" I will wager it was after he decided  (or someone decided for him)
That he was going to get into politics ! I would recommend that "EVERYONE" read and look into
what Islam is about. Understand what their agenda is and it will surely worry you !
Vile and vicious is what I have understood about it so far. Still researching though.

It wasn't Obama.  It was some fellow just elected in November.  I want to say he is from Minnesota.  At any rate, like someone else mentioned before; he does not have a strong record.  No one knows him.  Hillary much like Billary is going to take full advantage of the media and Hollywood.  Wait and see how many actors get behind her - it will be a circus.  Unfortunately there are many Americans that will base their vote on that alone.  2008 doesn't bode well for placing someone in office that will be very effective - Republican or Democrat.   >:(

What has Obama done other than get elected to the senate, and write a book?

The Muslums have already learned how to control our elections, and we are learning how to vote by their rules.  Just look at the last election.  Also the elections in France and Italy.  They will hit us hard in September and October of 08.  We will respond just as they want and elect the cantidate that offers to appease them the best, not a hard liner like we should.  Isreal has learned that lesson why can't we?

I feel they have already got the neccessary equipment here and the personnel in place.  They are just waiting for the right time to further their cause.

And I don't think there is any dirt to dig up on Obama.  He's squecky clean.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Hopefully, our very long pre-primary process will winnow through the kooks, screwballs, idealogues, idiots, and other assorted politicos and maybe, just maybe a handfull of reasonable possibles will come to the top.  I take heart in the fact that at least one idiot has dropped out of the possibility of running and that would be John Effing Skerry.

The other Democratic hopefuls I think are just for show.. it will be Obama or Hillary.
Probably both. (pres. and vice.).. Unfortunately, The Republicans are not fielding anything either ?
Rudy? I think not.. McCain?...An independent maybe will be electable.. Our country is in dire straits folks when absolutely "NO-ONE" looks decent as a leader. no politicians appear to be in it to serve their country anymore.
Just in it for themselves. Man I miss .....

In all fairness, I had to research one of my previous posts.  My Bad!!.. This is what I found to set the record straight...
I listened to others without finding out for sure.... It was not Obama....

"Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, found himself under attack last month when he announced he'd take his oath of office on the Koran -- especially from Virginia Rep. Virgil Goode, who called it a threat to American values."

Damn straight we could use another Reagan. Sadly though, I dont think there is one out there.

Rudy is a moderate (R), and McCain (R) seems to have it in for the NRA in recent years....But son of a ditch, they sure look great compared to Hitlary (K) or the Muslim (K)

A friend of mine thinks if Obama and Hillary run together, the country is not ready for a woman president and a black vice president all at the same time. One or the other maybe but not both. Hope he's right.

If the person that was running was someone that deserved respect and I thought would do good for this country, I don't care if it's a woman or what color they are. Maybe Obama would make a good president, but how are we to know when he has done absolutely nothing so far.

And just forget about Hillary. You know where she stands and we are totally (%^$&%()* if she gets in.

My thoughts exactly.  America is ready for one or the other, but definetly not TWO "firsts" at the same time.  My prediction is Hillary for president and Edwards as her running mate.

For the Republican ticket, I think Bush is still going to play a role.  WHOEVER GW openly supports will have that strike against him (probably McCain).  I think it will come down to Giuliani/Romney ticket for the Republicans.

I sure wish Colin Powell would reconsider.

Colin Powell is as squishy and unreliable as that dolt from Nebraska--Chucky Cheezy.

John McCain is not high on my list, but I will give him credit for having some principles.  At least he is not taking the cowardly-quiter's easy way out of Iraq.  He is one of the very few who understands what the implications are if we don't finish what we started in that ungodly sh_thole.

Didn't Ronald Reagan "cut and run" from Lebanon in the '80's?  He was a big enough man to understand that we had become just another faction in that conflict and it was not winable, nor was Vietnam.  When the indiginous population does not support you, there is only one option, cruel harsh occupation like the Germans or USSR did.  And the US will not do that, even if they deserve it, it is against our principals.  We can't become like the Israelies, the same as what they hated the most, Nazi's.  In the movie Munich they allude to this situation.

And after reading about the christian church that Mr. Obama attends I was disturbed.  They have an open racist agenda that the Klan would consider a bit exteamist.  I read this in Investors Business Daily.  Not some right wing hate rag.  Why do the big news agencies not cover this? (I wonder) If it is not true rebut it.  Why is it OK for them to openly espouse these racist principals?  I will bet that Ms. Hillary will find a way to bring this to light, just like she did the muslim connection.

The reason that Mr. Bush was elected was because the Dems chose a couple of 1/2 wits to oppose him.  Hillary is much smarter, she will wait to implement her agenda.  If the Republicans choose another Bush clone that ignors the conservative principals and strong leadership that most of America is looking for they will lose this time.  I hear people say all the time that they will not vote for another Republican after this last bunch betrayed conservative principals.  We must attempt to clone Reagan and T. Rooseveldt

Yes, Reagan did make a strategic withdrawal, but the mission there was hardly analogous with what we are involved in in Irak.

If the only reason GW was elected was that the Dumbycrats ran a couple of half-wits against him, then the next Republican shouldn't have a problem.  You have to be a half-wit, dimwit, or at best a socialist, or all out communist to be a Dumbycrat, so there you go.

On the other hand, in general the people of this country are so poorly informed and lied to by the liberal media, it is entirely possible that a Dumbycrat could be elected.  And, Dog, you are right; this will be especially true if the Republicans don't get back to their principles of less government, lower taxes and border integrity.
