I'm getting an early start for squirrel season and I want a more powerful scope for my 17. I currently have a bafska 3-9 on top but I want more zoom. the only thing I'm worried about is the clearence of the hammer with a bigger scope. I'm looking at the Mueler APV, the 8.5-25 tactical or a Tasco 6-24 or 8-32. Now the gun is only going to be used for hunting tree rats so I would like a low magnification but then again I want to be able to see well enough out to 100 yards to tag them as well. So if you have any of those scopes mounted on your sportster can you please post a pic. or tell me what the clearence is like and what rings you are using... Thanks
