 :DI just got 2 for free!! ;D  My uncle "upgraded" to an Encore.  I now have a encore 7mag flutted, a contender 30-30, a handi 450 marlin, a handi 30-06, and a handi 50cal. muzzle loader.   What type of wood is on the handi 30-06 (world class scope)?  I have a few bolt guns too, but it seems like every time I've gone deer/hog hunting over the past 5 years a single shot went with me. ;D

It looks to me like it's the Yellow Lam (or" blonde")--a relatively rare stock set--I had one that I traded to mt30-30 in '05.

To me it looks like a checkered Cinnamon Laminate. The style that comes with the Ultra's....<><.... :)
