I have the P-11 and consider it a dependable light weight carry type gun. The Bersa is steel so is heavier. I don't have any experience with the PF-9, but would be looking at one if I didn't already have the P-11.

I just traded my Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact for a Kel-Tec P11. The Bersa shot well, with any ammo I tried, but it was just too big and heavy for me to carry for any time. (I also have a P3AT for pocket carry) I really like the size, shape and feel of the P11, gonna try a Fobus paddle holster for it and see how it works at the range, but from what I've heard and read should be OK in the dependability department...

My P11 has been 100% reliable and is small enough to conceal easily. Not a gun you want to shoot all day at the range, but a great carry gun. I also have a P3AT that goes with me just about everywhere. Never had a problem with Kel-Tec reliability.

I have a P11 as does my wife,easy to conceal ,hard hitting and dependable   mine like s CorBon 115gr,not as a steady diet but for serious social intercourse   Doug

I have both the PF-9 and the P-11. No experience with the Bersa, although I have handled them. The Kel Tecs are my choice due to their compact size and light weight. I really like the PF-9. I only have about 200rds thru mine. To date, no malfunctions with various types of ammo, and reasonably accurate. Doubt if it will ever take the place of my P-3ATs, but it definitely has it's place. I currently own 6 Kel Tecs, guess that says it all!

Just got back from the range - did the test with the various ammo with the new P-11 - everything worked great - it ate 95 grain frangible flat nose, 115 FMJ and hollowpoints and also my favorite 147 grain hollowpoints. It was easy to keep in the CM at 10 yards even rapid fire, but like other poster said, it does have a snap to it and after 200 rounds my hand had had enough...
but like I said, the Bersa Thunder 9 UC was a great shooting gun, just bigger and heavier than I wanted to carry, but was fun to shoot for extended sessions.

I have zero experience with a Bersa.  When my state went CCW my criteria for a handgun was nothing less than 380 prefer 9mm, dependable, semi-auto, small and lightweight.  I picked two the Keltec P3AT and the P-11 the 380 originally had an extraction problem but the factory fixed that.  The P-11 has never missed a beat (I've put 600 plus rounds through it cast to jacketed).  Carry ammo is Federal 90 gr. Hydra Shok HP for the P3AT and the Speer 124 gr. +plus Golddot for the p-11.  The P3AT is a great every day gun you sometimes forget it's there I usually carry it in a DeSanitis pocket holster (The Trickster) only problem was the holster would engage the magazine release.  I fixed that by punching a hole that the release fit into.  For the P-11, I tried 4 different styles and didn’t like any especially the inside pants models.  I settled on a Bianchi “ Model 105 – Minimalist™” this belt holster works great.  I do plan to purchase a P-9 (lighter weight and size).  Right now they’re a little hard to get.  A few weeks ago I thought I’d carry my Colt 1911 after a couple of hours wrong.  I’ll stick with Keltec.  Let me say one other thing PRICE was not a factor when I purchased my CCW weapon.  The P-11 is 100% reliable in my book

Turk, if you are going to carry IWB, you need to buy your pants one size larger.  And if you have a couple of extra pounds on you, you must use a much stiffer belt than you would think to keep the holster from tipping outward.  Then IWB works!  My favorite belt is an Aker agent.  It has a plastic stiffener inside it that will not let a holster sag!  It solved a lot or problems that I used to blame on the holsters when they didn't work.  Yes, Kel-tec hands down for carry.  44 Man

Just now saw your post. I ordered my P-F9 in May 06. I picked it up in Dec 06. My dealer told me it was the first one sold in my state. It's the only one I've seen.

I handled my first PF-9 at a gun show this past week-end.  I was impressed.  The dealer had received two of them, one was loaded and tucked away in an in-side the pants holster.  The other one was sold, but still on the table, the individual had only made a down payment, and would pick it up sometime this week.  The dealer told me he had 10 more on order, and all ten were sold already as a result of the show.  

I don't need one, but think I will add a PF-9 to my collection.
