Does anyone know for certain if a regular '98 Mauser bolt will fit a Turkish small ring '98 rifle? I have a rifle which needs a bolt (botched alteration) and don't find parts listed specifically for the Turk.

It should work, I have a regular German '98 bolt in my 1940 K Kale. It will not work if you have a 1903, they require an intermediate length bolt.

Thanks Ringo, the 1940 K Kale is the same rifle I have.

It will go into the rifle, but you will need to check headspace.

Thanks Friar, that is understood. The rifle came with a mismatched bolt and excessive headspace so I doubt the new bolt will be much worse and could even be better.
