bigjeepman (and anyone else who is unsure of their diagnosis) here is a short but pithy exerpt from "What is a Handiholic?":
The possession and use of this firearm (Handi) triggers a deep, and as yet unexplained response in certain individuals which results in a strong desire for the regular acquisition of more of them.... the term ‘Handiholic’ will be applied to those who find themselves unable to resist multiple acquisitions of this family of firearms. Further reflection on the subject can be found at
http://www.handiholic.com/Miscellany.htmlIf it walks like a 'holic, talks like a 'holic, posts like a 'holic, and acquires like a 'holic, not to mention drools like a 'holic...
... especially when it comes to drooling over a specific caliber (wipe it off the gun before you put it away)
... what other conclusion is possible? The good new is you may not be in actual denial, you may simply be unaware of the definition.
My conclusion: By any reasonable definition: YOU
IS ONE MY LAD!
And for the record, it ain't about the numbers - because, other than a couple of frames and stocks, and my kids' Sportsters, I am currently Handiless (though one should be on it's way to me next week) and though I am temporarily Handi free, I am not symptom free, and don't expect I ever will be.
Cheers
Kerry
