Lefty in 338 Federal

A Browning or Savage would do.

Agreed -- I think the .33 -- .35 caliber non-magnum cartridges have never gotten enough attention. I wish NEF would offer a Handi rifle in .338 Federal. It would be an affordable way for a lefty to get going with the thing. Something tells me that this round is going to languish, like the wonderful .358 Winchester did. At least Savage chambered the M99 for it for a while. Is there any rifle being chambered for .338 Fed other than that exotic Tikka?

The only consolation is that once you have a rifle and reloading dies, you can make all the brass you need out of .308. Bullets will always be available to feed the big honkin' belted magnums.

1. Left hand lever action rifles. Tired of having the spent shells kicking out onto my chest.

2. When Browning starts production of Winchester rifles again, bring back the XTR line from Winchester and make it in a left hand

Hum.. Let's see. A Winchester/ Browning Model 70 XTR rifle with a grade 6 Black Walnut stock, stainless steel barrel , GOLD INLAYS , fleur-de-lies checkering, and chambered in the  250 Savage, 300 Savage, 7MM Mauser, 22 Hornet,  30-30 Winchester, 35 Rem, 444 Marlin, 450 Marlin, 223 WSSM and .270 WSM and maybe the .300 H & H

Almost forgot to mention that a left hand Savage Model 40 in .22 Hornet from the Savage Custom Shop would be nice, too!

I'd like to see a Browning Stainless Stalker in 7x57 also.  A limited run for just a year at least.

How about one of those short-action synthetic-stocked Rugers in 7.62x39, .223, 6.5 Grendel, etc.? I'd like to have a light, fast rifle to carry along while hiking.

I've got a lefty stalker 25/06 LH vintage 1990, guess they didn't sell well enough to keep them in the lineup. They were offered in 280 Rem for a while too, saw one on gunbroker a few months back.

How 'bout a lefty bolt gun with a mannlicher, or stutzen style, full-length stock.  And chamber it in a classic like 6.5X55 or 7X57.   And maybe a better selection of aftermarket stocks.

I'd like to see Remington bring back the 541-S in a "full left hand" version, with steel clips!  I'd also like to see the same offered in 22 Win. Mag....

BTW, leave off the plastic forend tip too....

I vote for the model 7 as well.

Also, a Remington bolt action rim fire would be nice.

My wish is for a CZ550 left hand version, then I could have a left hand 6.5x55 without building it myself.  I have heard that they are making the 527's in a left hand version, so I will wish for greater avaiability.  A left hand Remington 798 and 799 would be okay, too.  I know that Zastava used to make then in LH for Charles Daly.  Maybe they will someday do the same for Remington.

I see several others would like the same rifle I'd like to have, a Remington Model 7 in SS.  .243, .260, 7mm-08, .308, I could live with any of these calibers.  (7mm-08 being my first choice)
