Hi folks. Im afirst time replyer to this forum . I thought I would ask if any one has ever used or heard of the powley reloading computer. This is really a slide rule made in the 1960,s . An old friend (in his 80,s) gave it to me. I was having problems finding a load for a NEF 243 with 20 " barrel . It uses water capacity of a giving case, bullet weight and length to give you the best powder and amount of powder for the water capacity of that case. It deals with IMR powder only But it really did work for me . it also came with a Prowley velosity calculator . I think its neat but Im sure that there are true computer programs that will do the same thing in about 1/2 the time. Any reply welcome . P.S. sorry for my spelling .
