G.B. ? on White Oak

Hi G.B. ,just wanted to know if you did or are planning to do a review of the Ruger you won at White Oak ?I would really like to see pics.I have a SBH that I'm thinking of customizing. ;)

No I have no current plans for a review on the Ruger. In fact I've not even decided yet what I will do with it. I could put it up as a collector piece (but I'm not much of a collector of anything) or I could shoot it or I might trade or sell it. I first must decide which course of action to take.

I did take a few photos but the lighting wasn't right and they really didn't turn out well enough to post. I'll need to get some more taken another day hopefully with better lighting and will post them when I have some worth posting.

I sent you an e-mail with a couple of the best photos I have of it at this time. They aren't bad but aren't great either, just the best I have right now. If your e-mail of record is correct you should have them now.

Hey GB.  I still say that since I sold you this hunt at a reduced rate that you should send me a consolation prize since you won the pistol.  You could always sell me the pistol for mere pennies on the dollar.  Just kidding...sorta!!!!

I am glad you won something since you had some other less than comfy experiences during the trip.

Be honest with yourself.  Can you guarantee you would hit a paper plate at 250 yards...100 yards...50 yards?  Then you have no business replacing the plate with a live animal.

Now Lloyd you've OBVIOUSLY not been reading my comments on the Taurus forum in the last couple years have you?  ::)

I am still trying to decide what to do with it, in the mean time I'm keeping it in that Ruger plastic box so no dust gets on it.  8)

I would be open to a "serious" offer on it tho I'm sure but have no interest in letting it go at any super bargains.

Sounds like an appropriate place for a Ruger, they make pretty good boat anchors.  :o
