Tikka Trigger weight changing?
« on: January 27, 2007, 06:57:36 AM »
Has anyone seen the back page of Feb/MAr issue of Petersen's hunting mag? There is an advert for Tikka T3 and it lists the trigger as adjustable between 4 to 7 pounds!!
The Website still has it listed as 2-4lbs.  Does anyone know if they are in the process of changing the trigger wieght? Would be a great shame if they destroyed one of the best features of these rifles.

i have not seen it but will go get the mag tonight and take a look.It would be a huge disapointment if they did change it though,I love the fact that i can change mine with an allen wrench and not have to pay $75 to have somebody else do it.In the end it would shock me though,if it was up to the lawyers there wouldnt be any guns left for anyone.Keep us posted-Tim

I just got a brand new, factory fresh Tikka and the trigger is 2-4 lb. Also, the rings supplied with it are the Sako optilocks, which are better than the rings they formerly provided. You should be good to go!

I emailed Beretta and they said that the advert currently running that states that the trigger pull is 4-7lb was a misprint!!!! So.....according to the customer service dept. 2-4lb is to remain unchanged. I need to buy a 243, yep, need, desperate need!!!
So who has the best prices on Tikka at the moment??

Saw a T3 lite in Gander Mountain in Wichita for $550 the other day...(fiberglass stock).
