Crit'R*Calls ...
« on: January 27, 2007, 08:47:07 AM »
Just received my order for some of these ... got the Standard, PeeWee, and the Magnum with extra reeds and an instructional cassette. Anyone here have any experience with using these calls? They came highly recommended to me.

Thanks for the reply Gary. I posted this same question on another forum and the responses were flying in. I like what I see in these calls and plan to use them one day this week.

Crit'R.Calls and the Major go together like icecream and cake. Boddicker got the idea of that call from Claude McCready, modified it and reintroduced it in 77.
His line of calls are some of the best you can buy on todays market. Interesting how they look alot like Carlton and Austin calls?

Best out there. Try to use them even if you use electronics. It will break up the rythm a bit and seems to make them less call shy. After you master these, you may look into the tally-ho,,they are not as good, but the lower tone is something I have found no where else. It has a good muted tone where the crit-r-calls are a high pitch raspy sound.
 Good luck

Bugflipper, Besides Major Boddickers Crit'rcall, I see you know about Tal Lockwoods Tally-ho. Sounds like you know your business, how long have you been screaming?
