Mauser Bolt Action Identification

Don't know much about identification of mauser and I got this gun from a relative that brought it from germany.  Markings I see on it are:

bys.....bcd.42.......2 9 41.......mod 98......
serial number matches on bolt & barrel....9037
Any where on the net that I can find more info on identification of this gun?

The markings you have mentioned would seem to indicate a German K98 in 8MM.Can you post pictures to help indetify it better?
