Rust Bluing Setup - Recommendations???
« on: January 29, 2007, 05:27:52 AM »
Guys who have rust blued,

I have done a good bit of rust bluing on various projects.  However, I've just been making do with no real setup, i.e. rusting cabinet, boiling water tank, etc.

Do any of you guys have any suggestions???  Especially on the rusting cabinet or other items that make the process go smoother.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Angiers book is a good investment. The rusting cabinet needs to be damp but no condensation!! Drips on the part will wreak havoc...  Other than that a lot seems to be finding what works for you!!
