Name of a magazine
« on: January 30, 2007, 03:25:40 PM »
I need your help. When I was younger my dad always read this trapping magazine, it looked like it was made of newspaper material. It was larger than the size of a regular magazine and almost always had a yellowish cover. The pages were very thin, but it had so many topics in it. If you remember the name of this magazine or think you may know the name of this magazine, please let me know.

The Trapper and Predator Caller, was oversized and News print type--though pages were thicker than news print.Even today it is larger than most magazines you get.
I have 2 deadlines right now for upcoming articles in this magazine. So when I am not on here ,the next few days,I will be working on them.

Bogmaster is correct. Before the name was changed to the current "Trapper & Predator Caller" the magazine was a black and white newspaper with no color called just "The Trapper". A typical monthly issue in the fur boom years would run well over 100 pages. Ace
