Can't blame ya Mc, they're a nice rifle, if they weren't so darned expensive at $570 and I didn't already own a great levergun, I probably woulda bought one, it was mighty tempting when I handled one at SW.  ;)

I shot everything in the gun shop with it the other day, I'd like to have one of those myself, Little to pricey for me right now thuou. 8)

What in the world do you have to be forgiven for? You opted to buy a fantastic rifle...Shoot it..enjoy it...and be happy you bought a great gun in a great caliber...

Loading up some rounds tonite for a day at the range with my 45-70 and my 204 tomorrow. I am using RL7 for my 45-70 as I have it on hand for my 221.
I hope it's a decent day. The weather is not so good---we'll see ::) ::)

I couldn't resist the XLR either, except mine's a good ol' .30-30.  I do feel that I've been somewhat redeemed by the fact that as soon as I had my XLR, I put another Handi on layaway.  That should count, right?
