Stainless DW .45 Colt?
« on: February 03, 2007, 01:11:34 PM »
Hello, folks.

I'm thinking of selling a 6" stainless .45 colt DW, but can't find out anything about the value of this gun. How common were the stainless .45s? I saw a 4" stainless .45 barrel assembly go for $265 on an auction site! :o

Thanks, Regan

The model is the '745', and they are very rare around here. I'm not sure if DW still makes barrels for those.

Blaserman,
If you want to buy a gun, please take the discussion off this forum.  You may pm or email someone about the purchase, but you cannot discuss the purchase in this discussion forum.  Graybeard has made it clear that this area of the forum cannot be used for that and that anyone who does it may be removed from the forums altogether.  I have been a little lax about this in the past, but it is time to tighten up a little on any buying or selling in the Dan Wesson discussion forum.  If you have any questions see the sticky note from graybeard himself at the top of the Dan Wesson forum or PM graybeard about it.

How do I delete myself and Information from this site.
People on other sites warned me about the rediculus things on here .
All the person in the post would have said was Pm  me. Thats the answer I was looking for.
This is one of the strictest sites on the web.

Blaserman,

I sent you a PM- don't know if you'll see it or not. If you prefer, email me at reganu at swva dot net. Thanks, Regan

Blaserman,

I don't make the rules, I just enforce them for the Dan Wesson forum here.  This is the most active Dan Wesson forum on the internet.  Everyone is welcome here, but we all have to live by the rules, even if we don't always understand the reasons behind them.  There is absolutley no problem with you making an offer to buy a gun through PM or email.  It takes no more effort or time.  It is Graybeard's forum and he has a right to ask this for his own reasons.
