Sure 'an 'twould be a grand visit...have I never told you that my grandmother was born there? lol

Unfortunately, my wife has some business scheduling that conflicts. Now if you're going to do it again next year?

Boydstun was over last evening and told me that he's going to attend. And I think that Weems will be there. Makes me jealous!
We'll hope that you have the best of the best and that everyone shoots top-of-form.

If you don't get any help from Ray Shafer, get back to me.

I'm unfamiliar with A M Metal Specialties. Where are they located?

Maver,

I got some information on AM Specialties. (Assuming that you're talking about the people in Williamsport, PA.)
A friend who knows them tells me that they make some pretty good targets.

Contact me offlist at e27122002@yahoo.com and I'll try to help if I can.

I have been in contact with Steve in A M Metal Specialties, Inc. yes in Williamsport PA.  He makes targets but that are cut with a plasma machine and then welds on the feet.  What we had in mind was the cast targets that Ray manufactures they look very strong.

I have been in contact with Ray also by email he is on the ball.

If you know of anyone else thats comin to Ireland for the shoot drop me a PM with their full names and email addresses and we can make sure we have them on our list.

I dont know the real names of these lads.

To shoot on top form i think we will have to take it easy on the pints of black stuff.

We have used both Rays and AM Metals targets, both with good results.

Maver,

Sounds like you have it well in hand.
The friend I spoke with last evening said that, at his club, they use both ant the cut steel targets last longer than the cast...although since the thickness of the cast chickens has been increased, they are no longer breaking all that much. (We use all resettables and one of our club members makes ours. They are cut steel and stand up to very heavy use -- and resets probably take more abuse than targets that are free to fall.)
If I can be of service in any way, contact me directly.

BTW: Those ARE their real names! ;-)
