Anti's have even infiltraited Maine

I thought Maine (the "Don't tread on me." state) would be one of the last strongholds of our 2nd amendment rights to arms. Guess I was wrong. 

SCHOOL SHOWS ANTI-GUN COLORS

Joshua Enos, of Denmark, Maine, is a member of the American Trap Association (ATA), and has been a member since he was 13.  Joshua is graduating from his high school (the Fryeburg Academy, in Fryeburg, Maine) this year, and had submitted to his high school a picture of him with his shotgun--unloaded, broken, and draped over his shoulders.  The school refused to use this photo, because it showed a firearm in it.  Joshua's father asked if he could be in the Alternative Sports section of the yearbook.  The answer was:  "no" with a gun, but "yes" with his trophies.  His father then took a picture of Joshua with some of his trophies, but the school is now refusing to use this photo because the trophies have guns on them!

There is a fella who is a re-enactor and he is going through the same thing because he is holding a Sword and is wearing chain aromor.... I see a football, a baseball and tennis balls as projectiles capable of causing injury so they should be banned also... and Lord forbid a Base-Ball bat !!

Down here in the South, some of us were under the impression that just about everywhere North-East of washington DC was Anti-Gun ! And every state that touches the Pacific too !! Thank God the Second Amendment still is alive in some folks there ! Give Em' a good fight brother !!!

TrenchMud:  Not every state that touches the Pacific is antigun.  Remember that Alaska, The Last Frontier, the state that has the longest US coastline, abutts the Pacific, and we definitely aren't antigun!  You don't even need a concealed carry permit to carry here.  Any law abiding citizen can carry whatever they want, whenever, and whereever.  Things are different here.

NE Vermont has the most unrepressive firearm laws in the nation...it lives up to their state constitution and The Constitution...pretty much---and it is a state totally infilitrated by liberals and various other political ilks. BTW,,,I've learned that not all so-called liberals are anti at all.

That is, until they reach the National level & then they reveal their true colors. Some are savy enough to act pro gun in their State, Clinton had to because he would have had no chance in AR. doing otherwise, but as soon as he became Pres., he showed the real Klinton. We should expect ALL
Northeast Rep. & ALL Socialist Democraps from everywhere to do the same.

But I am glad that some individuals like some of the fine folks on this forum from the Northeast are pro gun.

Wow, who said that? It's full of loony lefties, it's just that they still allow hunting in the rural parts. The Maine coastline is one of the most popular vacation spots for the urbanites. You see, when they're tired of the rampant crime and depravity that they've endorsed in their cities, they go invade the country. Kind of like anti-gun celebrities that have an armed, personal security team in tow.

My brother who lives in Massachusetts has a good friend, Danny, who lives up in Maine that he goes to visit all the time.  My brother used to tease Danny from time to time jokingly calling him a "Maineiac", that is until Danny one day responded with "You must be one of those "Massholes"".

  The problem is there's simply too many of those "M---holes" moving up here and bringing thier anti views with them.  Why do they feel the need to destroy another state?    Oh wait, They're not even a state, they're a freakin' "commonwealth".

Actually my brother is thinking about moving to Maine once his youngest is out of school in a couple of years. However, I can asure you that he is no liberal, anti type.  He's 11 years older than me and was the guy who introduced me to shooting. He began taking me along to the sandpits to shoot his assortment of handguns when I was around 10 years old.  It's because of him that I am afflicted with the firearm bug.
