Gander, read your post, and had to go check a manual. In the newest Sierra book,(I think it is anyway), with a 170gr. bullet, Unique has a difference of 1 full grain of powder, and a .8 difference, with the 210gr bullet, between the start and max loads. The digital scale I've had, for well over 15 years, has been an RCBS. It might gain a 1/10 of a grain after I've had it on, but I just push the zero button, and it drops back to 0.0. Considering there are 7000grs. to the lb., 1/10 of a grain is hard to measure. With my scale, lightly blowing on it, will make it "bounce" so to speak. And the only problem I ever had, was the 110 power converter went out. When I called RCBS, the lady didn't even want the old one back. She said they had a few of them go bad, took my name and address, and sent me a new converter. Don't know if they would do that now, as that was 3-4 owners ago. I hate to say it, but this is the difference between then and now. The companys nowdays are more concerened with how cheap they can make something, instead of how good. They figure on a certain percentage of customers being disatisfied, returning an item that was bad, and probably a few, that just say to heck with it, and just throw it away, and buy something else. We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!! Remember-(12/7/41)-(9/11/01) gypsyman
