I will take the other side. I have 2 weatherby 460's. One is a mark5 and the other is a DGR model. The DGR is a 3" shorter barrel with iron sights, and a removable muzzle brake. It is a little lighter than the mark 5. The DGR is made to order, so you won't see alot of them setting around in stock. I enjoy shooting both of them. The DGR is a little quicker and handier. The newer,(last 8 or 9 years) factory loads are 500 grain bullets at 2600ft/sec. The older loads were 2700ft/sec. Weatherby loaded them down a little because of complaints from African hunters. During extreme heat, pressure built up and some brass was sticking during extraction. Most people either love weatherbys, or hate them, not much middle ground. They are expensive, but I find them to be very accurate and durable. Granted the power is overkill but... who cares? Just my opinion.
