Stupid Ram-line Stock set! Can not make it fit my 336SS!

I have been trying for two hours to get my black Ramline stock to fit my 336SS. I have never been so frustrated in all my life.

The stock fits perfectly. But the forearm.....I can not get it to line up with my crossbolt. I have dinged, scratched and dropped the rifle just trying to get the stupid thing on.

It would look and feel great if I could get it to fit. Anyone else try this??? results?

I don't remember relieving mine any but I do remember using a rubber mallet on it. Once you get it on and shoot it a bunch you won't have any trouble getting it on and off easily.
