I hope by your absence your getting that dredge and the high bankers repaired and tuned up
and see if you are still in shape to fit in that wetsuit and get that battery charged up for the metal detector.

This forum has never gotten much use and has just been barely hanging on. Lately it seems no one has any interest in it.

Panning for gold is more of a summer activity.  With 250" of snow this winter and 50"+ on the ground, I am not panning much.  I was cutting firewood yesterday and fell up to my armpits in the snow next to a few young spruce trees.  We are a long wany off from prospecting up here. :'(

The center section is finished. It has most but not all of the inside panels on, is fully wired and has the lights in place. We have a 30'x38' pad poured for the first side shed but the roof is not yet up on it. It's been a slow go. The roof for the first of two side sheds should be up this spring I guess.

Dave I can understand the hard water this time of the year up your way.
I worked the area north of Homer last spring and the water was still hard in May.
I talked to my friend that lives near Healy and he said it has been in the 50's and most of the snow has melted down, it's been below zero here and the wind and snow is keeping my tractor low on fuel moving it around.
Put those snow shoes on when cutting wood ;D.

Well Bill keep at that shed, I never made it past your place when heading south, maybe it's because working on your shed ::) I got tired working on mine, but I still have the map to your place.

We do a little on it from time to time. My brother-in-law and his friend that works with him are going to put the roof on the side shed this spring. I have a metal building they want that I told them I can let go as soon as the roof is on the side shed so they will do the work in exchange for the building. Then as I have time and am able I'll get a back, side and maybe even a front put on it.

We kinda took a break from it last year and got a pond dug up front near the highway. It's full now and I'm waiting on the state to give me a call to go pick up the bream to stock it. Then bass will go in come June and catfish when the truck comes by with them so I can get some.

With the center "shop and storage" section of the barn finished the side sheds are not a rush project for sure.

I sorta doubt it since I don't even know what a GPAA Forum is. But then since I don't know what it is I can't say for sure. Help me out by explaining what GPAA is and then I can say for sure.

Well for sure if it's about Gold Prospecting then you didn't see me there. It's not an area of interest to me.
