Can't find reloading brass made by Winchester anymore. Did they get out of the business?

I don't know if they did or not.
Dont worry if Chicago gets there 10 cent a bullet tax in the rest of the greedy gun grabbing liberal towns will follow.
The demand of reloading components will increase and you will most likely see more making brass.

Where the heck you been Rudy? We were worried something bad had happened to you it's been so long since you posted. I tried calling the phone number I have on file for your home number but it said it was disconnected. That made me wonder even more.

Uh, where are you looking and for what caliber..?

Winchester is ALL I can find when I go to our local sports stores.  Midway USA still lists the stuff as well.
Just my Awf Hand comments...

The Sportsman's Warehouse had a tremendous amount of Winchester virgin brass in stock about a week ago when I was in there, one guy on another forum said he had bought some Winchester virgin brass but was bitching about the quality of it, it didn't look too good from the photo's he posted, especially at the prices they are charging for that stuff now!

There is this little nastiness in the middle east where soldiers use up lots of ammo/powder/bullets/primers defending us and there is a shortage on the home front. Price of oil going up does not help either...
With all the WCC brass over the years, I doubt very much, whatever happens to Winchester guns, the ammo department is going out of business... And powder... 844 and 846... Naw... but possible. Think of the supply of .223 when some surplus buyers starts shipping it back from the middle east. !!

I seriously doubt that there will be any wholesale dumping of surplus 5.56 ammo when Iraq is done....the War on Terror won't be over any time soon.  This isn't the 1970s - and the anti-gun Dems are in power again.

Since I've bought my last gun, I got some win. brass (new) for my 357 mag BH at my local gun shop. I hope they don't  quit! And if you believe that I've bought my last gun, I got some ocean property in arizona! ;D

I just bought some Win brass a couple of weeks ago.  Price was up some and the quality was poor.  Course you don't know that when it is sealed in the bag.  But if I did not live 100 miles from the Sportsmans warehouse I would have returned it.  Many of the brass mouths were dented in.  Not happy.

Howdy guys. Figured id chime in on this. I picked up two hundred rounds of 223 brass yesterday. And as stated above quality was much lower. But to address the problem with availability. From what all the distributors are telling it is due to Winchester moving all there amunition plants to Mexico. Aparently there not in full production yet. And for the price increase!!! Holy crap, I get my brass at cost so it doesnt hurt me  TOO BAD. The price where i buy my brass went from $19.95 a bag to $39.95 a bag on 22-250. Now thats retail but i picked up all the brass i could carry that was still marked at the old prices. Good luck guys.

Naw. Bought some 25/06 Win brass at Gander Mnt. last week @ $14.88 per 50. Doesn't look any different than it ever did. Heard an interesting rumor tho: Winchester .223 components may be getting scarce because of the war and the military is buying IMI .223 ammo for practice stateside because they don't want to offend the rag heads by shooting them with Jewish bullets. That's just crazy enuff to be true.

Google search "Running low on ammo" on the WEB and see just how crazy you think it is...
