Date of manufacture of a Model 71 Winchester?

Well I purchased the Model 71.  What a great gun.  I love it.   I would like to know the year of manufacture if anyone out there can help I would greatly appreciate it.  The serial number is 35847.

great deal Bigboar ! the model 71's are getting hard to find . your gun was manufactured in 1953 .
