sniper...you gonna stalk and shoot or wait for them to come to you?  I like to go to in the morning or evening sit around for a little while and then consider which one to kill.  After 30 to 40 that way it takes the surprise out of the hunt.  Also, when you get really antsy you can stalk within 10's of feet and shoot them behind the ear.  Certainly the fun stops and the work starts when you pull the trigger.

Yes.  I know how sniper feels.  Couldn't help myself Wynn!  Just too tempting.  When I get the itch I gotta GO.  Too bad he has to wait until JULY.  HOLY COW.  Stick a fork in me, I'm done.  Having my own place to go to hunt, shoot, plant, manage, whatever and whenever; is especially satisfying.  Buy it now 'cause the price is always going up.  The alternative is a year-round club with credit for those that work (management time) as well as hunt.  Buy down the hunting fee with labor in kind.  Not exactly the same as ownership, but certainly less costly.  Spend some part of the day improving the land and the other hunting.  Doesn't get any better than that on a limited budget.

OK, all this talk has got me antsy to go. I'll call my hunt buddy and see if his kids want to clean one tonight. Think I'll use my Lyman Great Plains Rifle just to spice up the kill.  8)
