Gave my P 32 to a friend
« on: February 16, 2007, 04:40:11 PM »
I gave my p32 to a friend of mine last weekend and now need a new carry gun.  I will be buying a new gun soon and would like your advice.  I want a semi auto in a small frame with atleast 10 shots thats light weight, accurate, and dependable.  $500 is my limit.  What do you think?

I bought a Kahr CW-9. Mine is dependable, light weight and accurate but it does only hold 7 rounds. I do carry an extra mag. In my opinoin you made a mistake selling the kel-tec 32 unless you plan to buy a 380. Mine is denpendable and so small and light that it's the perfect summer pocket gun. Their customer service is second to none. So why did you sell it.

Forgot to say you should be able to buy the Kahr CW-9 for about $450.

I did not sell it.  I gave it to a friend of mine that is a police officer.  The city he works for does not supply him with a back up and he can not afford to buy one so I gave him mine.  I like the Kahr platforms and had thought of one but I would like to find something that will hold more ammo.

Well I finaly bought me a new/used gun.  I did not follow my guidlines though.  I only have 6 shots now but boy I love this thing.  I ended up buying a Kahr pm40.  I is easyly concealed and man this thing is accurate.  I can get all 6 shots inside 4" at 25 yards.  I hit a 10" steel plat with all 6 shots at 50 yds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way I do miss my p32 and will be buying the 380 when I can afford it.

Good for you...What a good friend you are.

I have the P32 and it is a dandy little semi-auto...If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the P3AT(380) instead.  I didn't like the fact that the 380's slide doesn't lock back when empty but I have since changed my opinion...If I have to empty that little gun, I should be moving backward and out of harms way anyway.  That pocket pistol is my last line of defense other than my sneakers...

UPDATE!!!   Bought keltec 380 yesterday!  I love the pm40 and carry it daily and will continue to.  I will be carrying the 380 in a galco ankle holster as a back up.   It nice to be back in the keltec toating group.
