New Kimber!!!!
« on: February 16, 2007, 08:12:54 PM »
After alot of research, and going back and forth between the SIG GSR,Springfield,Colt, and the Kimber, i got the Kimber TLE Stainless w/night sites. I handled all the pistols, compared the fit and finish, felt the "slop" in the slide-frame connection and the Kimber was the(IMO) the better choice. Cant wait to break it in!

I still get question marks in my head when I hear the words slop in the slide frame connection.
I prefer some slop. It is not the slop that locks the barrel.
If that be the case, Les Baer would be the onliest one that made guns.
