Just wondered what kind of luck had been had with it.Mine was cutting kinda out of square and was a little trouble to get set up right , but then I deprimed the cases before trimming and they seemed to square up better.I was trimming some once fired commercial brass.I'm still not sure that the old way isn't better.

I bought one about a year ago. I spent about three hours trying to get it to work like I wanted and I couldn't do it. I put it in it's box and set it on the shelf. I went back to my old way. Maybe I got too impatient ... i don't know ... I called RCBS one time and they tried to help but it still didn't do the job I expected. It just wasn't for me I guess ... lesson learned.

I have one that works fine. Had a little trouble in the beginning getting the outside turner set right, but once it was everything is ok. ;D

My experience is along the lines of Slim.
I spent a couple of long phone calls with RCBS initially and had them help with the set up but that was 3 years and a thousand cases ago. Since then, nary a problem. I did however, take a stone to freshen up the cutter on the 30 cal. Noticed that it was taking longer to shave off the excess brass . Once I dressed the cutter it is back to original operating efficiency.

My problem is the outside also, seems it puts too much bevel on ,or doesn't remove the lip all the way around.

mtnbkr1, By the comment you made about removing the primer I get the impression you are trimming before sizing. You need to trim after sizing. The case mouth will be oversized on an unsized case and you will probably have too much slop between the pilot and the inside of the case neck. That would account for the inconsistencies in your chamfers and the out of round looking cuts.   KN
