Accu Trigger...

I am not a fan of the Accu-Trigger , just my opinion, and was wondering if they could be removed without a major meltdown occuring? Really like the new safety button on the Savages , which are not on the Stevens, and would  love to get the 14 American but just not thrilled about the Accu- Trigger thing! Anybody have any input on this ?

Sharp Shooter Supply makes a replacement trigger for the accu-trigger rifles, costs close to $100.  Depends on how much you don't like the accu-trigger??  Dislike it enough to spend $100 for a different trigger?  I think that I'd live with myself.....

Not sure about where you are, but here in Houston, I've seen alot of new 10/110 woodstocked savages in the $350-400 range that don't have the accutrigger... Everything else, just not the trigger...

Although I think you were looking at the 14 American... You might be able to find one, if nothin else, ask the sales guy about ordering one.
