Need a new Moderator, Any volunteers?
« on: February 19, 2007, 06:03:12 PM »
Guys our former Moderator here (ButlerFord45) has asked me to find a replacement for him as Moderator of this forum. He has taken a second job in addition to being a farmer (what in the world was he thinking)  :o ??? and just no longer has the time to spend with us anymore. I'm sure he will be back when he can but can't devote the time to doing the job he feels it requires.

So I need someone to step forward and volunteer to moderate this forum. Contact me via e-mail, PM or post here.

Bill....I'm really not experienced enough to moderate here but will AS A LAST RESORT to keep it running. My Airsoft forum doesn't require anything as you can see...let me know if you need me. Ken

Thanks Ken, this really is one forum that NEEDS an experienced reloader at the helm. I have a knowledgeable volunteer as a contingency but would like someone who has reloading experience that would like to take it just because they want to be the Mod here rather than just to help out. We have a LOT of experienced reloaders on here. Surely one will want the job.

well I'm a loader...but not accomplished....like I said, as a LAST RESORT and the offer still stands...I'll step down immediately when a replacement comes...if it comes to that. I'm around here everyday anyway.... ;D

Bill,

If no one steps forward I will help out. I do reload and have been since I was about 15 or 16. I am just the quiet type most of the time.

I kind of hesitated replying to say "Congratulations!!" as I am the only one that is a "normal" member to reply so far. Seriously, I think you guys will do a great job and I have enjoyed your previous posts/replies. You certainly have the knowledge and have helped many here at GBO.

Ya but Greg I looked at two Sharps barrels that had a full case of smokeless that split the barrel from the receiver forward.
They thought if the powder was black it was the right stuff.

No, not Lloyd.  You must have him mixed up with somebody else.  Lloyd is that soft spoken, mild mannered guy that does his best not to stir things up.  But I do remember a member telling him he had a potty mouth once.   ;D :D ;D

Kurt,

Yep, I saw someone do that to a muzzle loader once too, that was why I said it was just a joke  ;D I guess I work around too many lawyers, makes me want to CYA.
