Did you buy it new, if you did you made a bad investment. I can pick up a used in great condition here in Delaware for $100 to $125.
The knight disc rifles are not know for holding there value.

As far as the gun itself. I had 2 Knight disc rifles and accuracy was OK but nothing to brag about. Clean up was not the easiest and the disc was a pain to put in with a scope mounted. Over all I did not like my Knight disc rifles.

But I hope you have better luck than I did.

This one? http://www.simmonssportinggoods.com/detail.asp?query=72718961376 That's a good price on a NIB one. Your probably getting it for less than what they paid for it. Your getting one of the better rifles out there. The Disc was on top for several years.

yep, that's the one.
it had come down to that one and the nef sidekick, but after getting the runaround for a few weeks trying to get the sidekick,
i decided to order this one.
Redhawk, sorry to hear about your luck with it, hope mine's better ;D
i figure for $169, if it isn't what i want i won't be hurt too bad.
it's still gotta be better than the cvas i've looked at for the same money ;)
by the way, there's shops on the internet still selling this rifle for $350 plus

For $169 I guess you can't go wrong.

You got a better deal with the knight. Now you wont have to worry about the gases cutting into the frame like they are known to do on the nef's. I saw a knight almost like that the other day and liked it. Although i liked the Ruger muzzleloader above it a lot more lol. I didnt check the prices on either of them, kinda wish i did.

CDNN's got the ruger 77-50s for around 199.   I'm not saying the NEF was a bad gun, i just got tired of the runaround i was getting from my supplier, that and the fact that no one around here could get ahold of one in wood.
i still may get one eventually, but for right now, i'm gonna see how i like the knight

I was a "good boy" and kept my mouth shut when you said you were going to get the NEF...
Now I'm going to tell you a secret...If you buy the Knight Disc and keep it cleaned...You will never
need another muzzleloader...Just buy you a couple hundred discs, reuse them and enjoy...The Disc is one of the finest inlines ever made.

My .50 Cal. Knight Disc Elite is the most accruate muzzleloader I have ever owned and I have owned a bunch of them. The discs are very easy to work with and easy to get.
I will never need another muzzleloader. If I do it will be another Knight Disc Elite.

Glad you like it. I think the DISC stock has the best non-thumbhole stock made for a right handed shooter. They just feel real good to shoulder. When I got my Disc Extreme I wanted the old style stock but they came with the newer ambi stocks so I got a thumbhole stock instead. You take good care of it and it'll last you a lifetime.

I have 2 Knight Disc rifles that I am very satisfied with. For target practice I reuse the plastic disc a time or 2, when hunting I use new. My current load is 95 grains of pyrodex under a 320 grn conical from my Lee R-E-A-L ML bullet mold. I use a wad under the conical and you have to take care that the bullet does not come off the powder charge since it is not as tight to the bore as Sabot types. I plan to switch to 777 when my pyrodex is gone. I've always liked the loose powder over the pellets & once you get some 'quick loads' ready, reloading in the field is a snap.

BBT came in yesterday from Simmons Sporting goods on the $160 original disc.  Prompt shipping.  Nice rifle.  How many times can the original orange disc be reused using light loads?

it's a pretty nice rifle, isn't it?   I made it out today to fire mine for the first time.
i got an average of a 2" group @ 50 yds from a wobbly kneeling position (forgot my shooting sticks ;D).
it seemed to get the best groupings with around 85gr of T7 3f. bullet was a 240gr T/C cheapshot.
i know i can shave a good 1/2" off of this with a decent rest.

i also tried a few shots with my bro in law's maxiballs, the grouping opened up to about 3" or so, but i probably could have cut back on the powder and got some accuracy back.
i also had to shoot 1 "magnum" load just to see, ya know.
120 grains of T7 thumps pretty good, but it's still not as bad as my turkey gun ;)
