Omegar Trigger
« on: February 22, 2007, 04:38:56 PM »
I purchased a T/C Omega Z5 Blackpowder Rifle today. I was aware before purchasing the rifle that the trigger assembly is small and there were problems shooting the gun with gloves on. This was not a major concern but after receiving the gun I find that when the hammer is released, the trigger cuts into my finger. Trigger is actually sharp and hurts when the trigger assembly moves foreward. Is this normal on the Z5 or is there a manufacture default.

Thanks for responding. My trigger is sharp to the touch. I really noticed it when I had cocked the gun and was releasing the hammer while holding the trigger. The trigger moved ahead and against my finger. It pushes my finger against the trigger guard and being that the bottom of the trigger is sharp it actually hurts. I can not imagine how it will fell when I actually shoot the gun.
       Thanks Cliff

Mine does move forward when I release it but not so far that my finger is pushed up against the guard might want to call TC about it. 603-332-2333

Contact T/C by phone - then explain your concerns.  Then wait for instructions on  how to return the trigger assembly to T/C Inc. for inspection/repair and/or replacement.
