10ga weaver base?
« on: February 24, 2007, 05:55:44 AM »
I bought some weaver #19 base for my 10ga turkey gun today but my bsa red dot is not long enough to reach both mounts.  Is there a 1 peice base for them that I havn't found? Or do I just mount it to one base and hope it dosn't move.

Well I read back post and I guess no one makes a 1 peice base. So I guess I will have to have new holes drilled and tapped or just use one of the #19 base screwed to the barrel and maybe epoxey the other one to the barrel.

The Weaver #417 is a 1-pc base that works with a red dot, you might check it for fit.

I have a BSA Redt dot on my 10GA.  It fit just fine and I have used it for a full year with no problems.  Took 2 turkeys opening weekend in KY last spring.  I'll try to post a picture of the gun here with one of my birds
