358 win to 35 whelan ackley improved

Hey guys,I have a 358 encore barrel that I was thinking of rechambering to the 35 Whelan.A.Improved.Can it be done on an encore barrel?

If the contour of the barrel allowed enough for the extension it sounds reasonable.. The should would be pushed forward and scquared so there would need to be enough metal in the reinforce to allow for safety.. Should work though..

Barrel is a full bull contour from the custom shop,so there is lots of room.I was wondering if the reamer would be as wide or wider than the .454 of the standard chambering,to full cut out a new chamber.Anyone have any dimensions of the 35 w.ai

I found the dimensions and yes it will clean up the old chamber.
