Marlin Model 94 .22 Magnum

Have a Marlin Model 94 .22 Winchester Magnum that is currently at Wind River Rifles getting an octagon barrel to replace the factory
micro-groove barrel. The rifle will shoot five shoots into 1" at fifty yards with a 2.5x Weaver scope and the factory barrel. I have installed the Wild West trigger so the trigger pull is crisp and breaks at about 3 pounds. Anyone had experience with these rifles? I'm looking for another one to rebarrel in .17HMR with a little bigger scope for more range. This appears to be one of the best .22 magnums made.

Not an expert, but I think you have pretty rare rifle you are having altered. Might check into it, but it is your gun, either way.

not only that buy you rebarreled a tack driving 22 mag. I think i would have picked up a rossi lever and put an oct on it and left the marlin alone. But im not you and if it makes you happy go for it. Ive been accused of cutting up an old model ruger or two and some people dont abide by that either.
