You're next up behind thayer so if I don't hear from him in a week your name will move up to #25 spot. Since he just signed up, said he wanted in and hasn't been back I have my doubts he will be but who knows.

Thayer has notified me via e-mail he will be able to attend the shoot and that he is really looking forward to it.

I think I may have just obliged you, or whoever was in line for the next two. My trip was to be a reward for all A's for my son . . . He is regrettfully not going to make it.

Thanks not really the way it should be but deals are deals and I know that with all my kids while they were in school burned themselves at least once on deals like that I think it was just a test on me and I know every time it hurt me as much as them to keep my end of the deal. Graybeard you ain't even got to ask I'm in now just a matter of asking ? of others who have already made plans for this . Kurt

Boy this is getting to be almost like work keeping up with all the cancellations. We've had more this year than the two previous years combined. I can't believe that every single person who asked to be on the stand by list is now on the list to go. But they are.

Ibbuckshot I need a confirmation from you that you'll be going as you are now #25 on the list of official attendees.

I hope all you folks who've cancelled out have cancelled your motel reservations IF you made them. If not and you confirmed with a credit card you need to be cancelling them soon.

I sure wish me and Faye hadn't had to cancel but these dizzy spells I'm having just won't seem to stay away. I'm concerned about getting that far from home and not being able to get back.

Sorry for jumping in and saying I would attend before requesting for leave time first. I have been waiting for a shoot like this for a few years. Before I could put in for my leave I was informed that I would be attending training as well as assisting in the firearms instruction for the next academy (early June) The only good thing about this is that it will open the door for the next person in line. It will be a great time. I am in hopes of receiving the event dates sooner next time.

There is yet another cancellation. I have been notified via e-mail that babe915 will not be able to make it so there is once again an opening for someone to fill but there are no more names on the stand by list. So if there is someone still wanting to go and able to make it on such short notice there is an opening.

Still more cancellations. JHT is having to drop out for health reasons just as I did. So neither he nor his partner D.C. will be able to attend.

This now makes three vacant slots that could be filled if someone really wants to go and can still make it on such short notice.

I wish I had some vacation left, I was so far down that I didn't bother getting on the list and drove dad to Florida and back this spring for his visit to my sister.... grr..... oh well, shoot lots of them for me and make sure they have some of that food for me too!

Yup Marv I really hate not being able to make it. I had hoped to bring Mrs. GB with me this year and we were gonna do some additional driving around and sight seeing that she's been wanting to do since she was a wee small girl and at age 61 now that was a long time ago for her. But my health is such that traveling is just not a smart thing to do. She doesn't drive, never has so all the driving would be up to me.

I'm still having dizzy spells that come on with no notice and last from a few minutes to a few days at a time. Just not smart to be caught that far from home should one hit me. I got up this past Saturday morning feeling fine, packed the truck for a trip to the skeet range and shortly before time to leave a spell hit me so badly I had to go back to bed. Faye and Phil had to unload the truck for me as I wasn't even able to go out to do that. I was in bed all day fighting the dizziness and unable to get out to do anything.

The doctors have given up on trying to determine the cause of the dizziness. They've checked every thing they can think of and have not found the underlying cause. I've been to at least half dozen specialist my GP thought might be able to figure it out and had many batteries of tests run to no avail.

Unless the dizziness goes away and stays away for extended periods I'm not sure I'll ever feel safe getting that far from home again. The last trip I took my two oldest boys had to drive down to get me and bring me home the spell was so severe and lasted so long. At least that was but a few hours away here in Bama.

I had a terrible time with dizzy spells a few years back, they just couldn't figure out what was causing them, they went away when the Doctor changed my blood pressure medication, all that crap I went through was a side effect of the medication!

The very worst of my dizzy spells I was eventually able to trace to a single medication also but not all of these spells have been traced to anything yet. In my case I suspect it's a combination of factors and I just don't know what all of the factors are that play into the dizzy spells. I just can't find any one thing that is common to all of them.

I gave up on that one pain med even tho it gave me more pain relief than any other I've found as I couldn't deal with the side effects. Until last Saturday I was beginning to think my dizzy spells might be over as I'd not had one that affected me enough to change what I do until then. But that one proved to me it's not behind me yet.
