Does anyone have a recommendation for an outfitter in Minnesota for a quality bear hunt?

I don't hunt with this guide but a guy at work does and he's showing me pic's of 450 pound bear he takes wih him. I do my own baiting but in the long run I pay just as much and sometimes don't get a bear.

Here's last years bear:

Finally fooling around with some of my 2006 bear hunt video using my microsoft movie wizard...here's a video of above bear. I speeded it up for giggles experimenting.

The bait station consists primarily of donuts which are sitting in a sled. A covering is over the donuts to keep them from turning into slop if it rains. You won't be able to see a coffee can hanging which is jury rigged with a tea candle inside and another can slid in over that; bacon is slow cooked for scent. The bacon cooker is on a pulley system to retrieve it and inspect, fix any probs. It worked very slick.

Donuts and bacon cooking...now there's a black bears achilles heel.

Steve Batallion from International Falls, MN. We have used him for the last 4 years and have had great sucess. He is a very good guy and does all he can to get you a bear.  His number is 218-244-0259

Beaver Tail Outdoors out of Bigfork, Mn. 1-800-853-5172. They are excellent. Success rate always well over 90%. Knockout Hunting Adventures TV show has gone with them the last 2 years. They have references too.                                                   ( Biased opinion Daughter & Son-In-Law)

Hey, great thread!  I was gonna post the same question, but now I don't have to.

I live and hunt in Minnesota, and I've always done my own baiting.  But I'm strongly thinking about paying someone (as long as it isn't too much) to do that for me.  Ugh, time will tell what I end up doing this coming bear season.
