can anyone tell me what a dan wesson, norwich new york, model 740-v8s slotted, as, hgi,  357 maximun is valued at? or at least what someone would be willing to pay for one? it has first issue stamped in the shroud and the serial # is x000(under 50). it has factory installed bomar rears and a hooded front. comes with original box, gap tool, door knob style barrel wrench, and second 8" barrel only. also shroud was drilled and tapped at the factory and comes with their turn-in style rings and bases. has hogue rubber grips. gun was fired but you really have to look hard to tell, very slight line around cylinder. thanks jim

I'd say the best way to find out is to list it on Gunbroker and see. Just start it at whatever you have to get out of it, and see what happens. If nobody buys, then it's best to keep it.
