I feel that was a great deal. ;D I can't wait till more than a few people come in with range reports.
The quality of a mans life is in direct proportion to his commitment to excellence.

A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work!!

I don't think so, the 7mm-08 is bigger at the shoulder than both of them, but you should be able to ream to an improved version of either, tho.

Got the centerfire forend yesterday, 1 week from the day I ordered it direct from CVA/BPI. It fits the frame very tight, takes a good amount of force to get it on the frame, don't know if that's good, but I'll try it that way before I make any changes. Encore forends need to be floated and not touching the frame for the best accuracy, seems to me the OE would be the same as they both have a very similar design. ???

Well I've  got 3 barrells for mine now,and everyone of them lock up real tight. The muzzleloading barrel looks very good on the frame, and fits perfect with the forend I got from Quick.I still can't figure out why they fluted a muzzleloading barrel. It's not like you're going to shoot them fast enough to get the barrel hot. ::) ::) ::)  Digger

I do lol. Just gotta love speedloaders. There are days when i just have to set it to the side to cool down. Plus it adds a nice look.

Well my 30 06 dropped another pig this evening,no.2 and he dropped in his tracks. Another one of those shoot through the brush shots. I still find it hard to believe that the 150 gr. BT's get through the rough stuff. 125 yd. offhand shot in that kind of brush is unbeleiveable. :o :o :o :o  Digger
