Shotgun barrels?
« on: March 01, 2007, 05:04:50 AM »
Can anyone tell me where I might find a shotgun barrel for the CVA Optima Elite? I have tried every where, Brownells, Grafs & Sons, Bass Pro, Wal Mart, Dick's, and even BPI (CVA). BPI told me to call Bass Pro Or Cabelas but no luck. Bass Pro said to call Brownells--no luck. Turkey season starts in two weeks, and I really wanted to hunt with my Elite this year. I wanted a camo barrel but would settle for a blued one for now. Any ideas?

You might try ... http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php ... though I couldn't find any on their website. They seem to have a lot of Elite products.

I got it! Thanks Mac11700. Had to pay more than I would if I could have gotten it from somewhere else, but that's what you get for being impatient.

I will let you know how it shoots, but I am almost computer illiterate and don't have a clue on how to post pictures.
Thanks again for your help.

Sorry about the late response. I didn't get a chance to kill a turkey with the gun, but it patterned really well with a Truglo  Gobble Stopper Extreme choke tube and Winchester 2.75"  #5 shot in the silver box. I can't remember pellet numbers, but would have been deadly out to 40 yards.
