Order info.
« on: March 01, 2007, 09:50:35 AM »
Hey there, I want to order a Willams FP peep sight from H&R, but i have never mail orderd anything from them. I would like to send a check b/c I dont want my CC# to be writen on the order form. Incase somebody decides that they want to steal an envelope, then they would have my number ect. And my checks dont have my address on them so should i write my address in and just hope that they trust me or should i just send my CC# in and hope that nobody steals it? Also, about how long would it take for me to recive my package after i mailed out the order form?
Thanks guys.
Henry.

Give their CS a call , the numberis in the FAQs , order right over the phone , that way they can tell you if the parts are in stock also ETA on them .

You could also give them the CC# over the phone and not have to worry about it being in the mail  .

Stimpy is correct, I just ordered some parts yesterday just as Stimp suggested and it went smoothly. If they seem rushed don't take offense, there are only 2 people working there in addittion to the boss Gordon and they are swamped with orders. They do a great job and it usually takes me about 1 week to get my parts orders in the mail....<><.... :)

Henry, I'd much rather give a credit card number out, either by mail or over the phone than to give someone my checking account number and routing number which is on your check!! If the check info is stolen, you could be out all the money in your bank account plus any amount that you get charged for overdrafts and the hassle of iD theft, a credit card fraud will cost you no more than $50, and likely nothing.

As far as mail getting lost, I've had one letter unaccounted for in my 59yrs here on earth, and I suspect that was the recipient that lost it!!

As everyone said, call em and order it, that's what I do!! ;)
