Hornady 95 grn SST in 6mm
« on: March 01, 2007, 10:43:34 AM »
Hi All,

Wondered if anyone has had experience using this bullet in the 6mm Remington?

Brought a box yesterday and loaded up 40 rounds using IMR 4831 to test with charge weights starting at 43.0 Grns and increasing in 0.5 grn increments to 46.0 grns and CCI 200 primers in R.P cases. Seems my rifle a P-H 1200V has a long throat as the COL is 2.985". Hopefully if the weather is co-operative on sunday I will try them out and see which of them shoots best starting at the bottom and working up..

Oh I used the 4831 as I had more of that on hand than the Reloader 19 and those are the slowest powders I have. ohterwise it's down to BLC-2 and Varget.
